WHY DOES MY TWO STROKE GENERATOR PRODUCES LOW CURRENT/ FIRES LOW?

At this point i'm assuming we know what a two stroke engine is and how it works. If not check out my previous post on DIFFERENTIATING A FOUR STROKE ENGINE FROM A TWO STROK ENGINE
I'm also assuming that you've comfirmed that what's causing your generator to produce low current or fire low is not the coil/capacitor
Carbon residue could block the exhaust passage thereby stopping carbonmonoxide from leaving the combustion chamber. "DECARBONIZING_YOUR_ENGINE"
Now we'll be looking at how you can clean out those carbon residue from your two stroke engine.
1)loosen the four bolt holding the tank, remove fuel hose connecting tank to carburetor then remove the tank
2)loose the cylinder cover so you could get to the cylinder.
3)loosen two nuts and two bolts holding cylinder to engine block, remove gasket also then soak in gasoline for 10mins to help soften the carbons on the cylinder's head.
4)loosen exhaust bolts from under the engine block.. You'll nee a screw driver, metal brush and a small knife for this project

Comments

  1. Complete the project with the remaining steps below.

Use the screw driver to clean the carbons blocking the hole under the exhaust. Looking directly from where the cylinder was removed from into the engine block you'll find other two holes make sure they are not blocked..
Get the cylinder head and brush off the carbons use the knife for stuborn carbons then wipe dry with rag. It should be shining as new at this point..clean the gasket also...now with your knife brush off the head of the piston..
Couple back the cylinder and tighten bolt strongly to avoid air leakage..start generator without exhaust, you'll get a dirty pra'pra'pra sound..that shows that the engine is now fine.,clean exhaust with a long screw driver inserted in the hole then tighteen back to engine block..
