SPARK PLUG

                                                     SPARK PLUG

I've been asked alot of questions about generators in the my few years of being in the field, but one common question is the question of "hard starting"...well , hard starting in a generator both big and small can occur due to different reasons. I'm saying that not one particular component can cause it!! one common factor of hard starting is the PLUG. When the plug is bad or filled with lots of carbon, it can cause hardstarting.
 HOW TO CLEAN OR REPLACE
get your plug spanner, you can get one in any mechanical store.. Fit it in the plug then rotate or loosen in an anti clockwise way, when it's out clean with a needle or something tiny that can go into the plugs space. insert back into the cylinder and tighten in a clock wise way...this can also be applied when changing and replacing with a new plug..
