SPARK PLUG

SPARK PLUG I've been asked alot of questions about generators in the my few years of being in the field, but one common question is the question of "hard starting"...well , hard starting in a generator both big and small can occur due to different reasons. I'm saying that not one particular component can cause it!! one common factor of hard starting is the PLUG. When the plug is bad or filled with lots of carbon, it can cause hardstarting.   HOW TO CLEAN OR REPLACE get your plug spanner, you can get one in any mechanical store.. Fit it in the plug then rotate or loosen in an anti clockwise way, when it's out clean with a needle or something tiny that can go into the plugs space. insert back into the cylinder and tighten in a clock wise way...this can also be applied when changing and replacing with a new plug..

Explanation of a small petrol generator (Parts)

on my previous post, i talked about how a petrol generator works and i also did some explanations on the main components. Now lets move on to how a small petrol generator works....                     SMALL GENERATOR All generators works with a process called internal combustion, it consists of different parts: Piston   A piston is a component of reciprocating engines, reciprocating pumps, gas compressors and pneumatic cylinders, among other similar mechanisms. It is the moving component that is contained by a cylinder and is made gas-tight by piston rings. Rings    A piston ring is a split ring that fits into a groove on the outer diameter of a piston in a reciprocating engine such as an internal combustion engine or steam engine. Spark plug     It is a device for delivering electric current from an ignition system to the combustion chamber of a spark -ignition engine to ignite the compressed fuel/air mixture by an electric spark Cylinder A cylinder is t

OnlineGeneratorMechanic Do it yourself..... Having problems with reaching a mechanic within your area for your generators? It could be frustrating. OnlineGeneratorMechanic shows you that you can be a banker, lawyer e.t.c. and yet service/repair your generator yourself. Awesome right!!? OK, First let's see how generator works... The Generator Generators are useful appliances that supply electrical power during a power outage and prevent discontinuity of daily activities or disruption of business operations. Generators are available in different electrical and physical configurations for use in different applications. In the following sections, we will look at how a generator functions, the main components of a generator, and how a generator operates as a secondary source of electrical power in residential and industrial applications. How does a generator work? An electric generator is a device that converts mechanical energy obtained from an external
