"MY CARBURETOR OVERFLOATS"

1. Restricted fuel tank vent
system.
2. Loose float bowl screws- When your carburetors bowl screws are loosed it allows fuel to drop from the port, sometimes it could be due to a worn out bolt or threading in carburetor.
3. Damaged float bowl O-ring- a damaged rubber seal/o-ring could also cause fuel leakage, since it can't seal the space no longer
4. Damaged or leaking float
assembly- a float assembly include the jet and the float. Dismantle the float assembly and make sure that the fuel inlet is not blocked
5. Particle contamination in fuel
inlet fitting cavity-using a carburetor cleaner; soak carburetor in it for at least 30 minutes then couple..
6. Worn or dirty inlet valve or seat- bad valves and seats could also cause this, in two stroke generators(small gen), the carburetor seats directly on the valve. You can loosen the valve at the back of the valve, therer ar two screws loosen them clean valve wit petrol them couple back and tighten the carb
7. Improper fuel level in float bowl- change the float
